Thoroughly enjoyed the seven days spent on the Wind Surf! Was nervous about being on a smaller boat compared to some of the others but found it to be a delight, especially since we were in a port every day! The crew was simply stellar: quick to respond to any concerns, taking pains to remember you by name and doing all they can to make your sailing spectacular! We selected a suite which was an appreciated luxury although the standard cabins which are exactly half the size would suffice especially since you are in a port each day anyway. It was the itinerary that sold us on this and for the most part, it didn't disappoint. For some strange reason, we docked in Dominica at a freight terminal, miles from town, and were given incorrect maps....walked around aimlessly looking for the town and finally returned to the ship. Not a terribly safe area and that was our only disappointment. We have been to the island before and know that other parts are safer and more beautiful. Barbuda was a delight. Exactly what we expected: remote, a little desolate, but just miles of beautiful pink sand beaches. The other surprise was Il Les Saint. What a lovely little French town and breathtaking beaches and colorful homes and businesses! The tender boats would go back and forth frequently and the crew was attentive and kind. Our cabin steward was friendly, but unobtrusive and kept the suite spotless! Food was varied. We loved Stella Bistro, and Candles. The deck barbecue night was fun! Didn't find it necessary to buy the liquor package. Bottled water and specially coffee included. Bring a little extra to tip these hardworking people, your cabin steward and food servers (bar service includes automatic gratuity)--we did. Their hard work deserves extra recognition!

Cabin S

This cabin was close to elevators and stairs, aft. Easy access to tenders, early morning coffee in the library and the pool area. Despite the age of this ship, we never heard a sound in the evening when we sailed! The ride was smooth and quiet! A testimony to the solidness of this vessel!
