It rained when we arrived into port, so we were in no rush to get off. When it stopped raining, we got off, but we were timid to take a cab anywhere not knowing whether or not it was going to rain. So we just tooled around the straw market that is right off the ship. There's certainly nothing much to it. I bought some shot glasses and a conch shell with the names of my girlfriend and I. Then we spent the rest of the day exploring the ship. I'm sure if the weather had been decent, and I would have taken a cab, I would have been fine. Apparently there's nothing for about 11 miles from port. Cabs were only like 5 or 10 though.

Freeport

This was a perfect stop at the end of our cruise. After you're tired, sore, and just want to relax, this is the perfect island for that. There are bars all over the island, so you can get soda cup refills and put your own liquor in, and basically sit on the beach all day and get drunk. We did that but didn't get too drunk. It was in the high 70's low 80's when we were there, in January!If you get off the ship and go all the way down there is a lagoon, and it has ocean water in it but is very calm. There are beach chairs submerged on this little mini island in the middle of the lagoon. This is perfectly relaxing! The best part is that you are the only ship there, so you don't have the share the island. Since the island is used to supporting much larger cruise ships, coming there on the Sky means you have more space per person on the island since its one of the smallest ships in NCL!I wouldn't do any excursions on this island, unless the price is right. This island is an excursion all its own.

Great Stirrup Cay

We went on the "Seahorse Sail and Snorkel" excursion. It was the only one we went on all cruise. I wasn't sure about excursions, so I wanted to try just one on my first cruise. For $50, they took us on a 30 minute catamaran ride out to a coral reef, where we snorkeled. They provided the gear. Then they turned on club music on the way back and served unlimited rum punch. I think we were only couple that tried to push our limit on the unlimited part ;) I wanted to get my money's worth.After that we went to the beach, which was amazing. Caught a cab there and back. The same cab driver told me he would be back and he came back. Its a good thing he did, because he had my wallet! I left it in his car by mistake. But he was honest and didn't take anything.

The room was bigger than I expected. I'd never been on a ship before though. There were no noises or anything that kept us up. The rocking was very peaceful and put us right to sleep. Body wash and shampoo come in pumps, not bottles like hotels. Nothing ever came up missing, but of course we used the safe. Willy F. was amazing. Lights take too long to turn on in the room and the switches are wonky.

- Deck in front of Outrigger Lounge never has anybody there, and its nice to stand and watch the cruise ship sail or take off from there.I was worried that while I was busy being star struck by my first cruise, she would be yawning.
