We did a little 2 night cruise on the Carnival Imagination in Jan 2015, The Imagination is a smaller ship and it is starting to show its age. With that being said, the cruise did not live up to my Carnival standards. The Cruise Director did not really engage with the crowd, the employee's were not very talkative or interactive with the guest, the food was not the greatest (It was ok, but not great...No prime rib or lobster but that might have been because it was just a 2 night cruise). We had fun, but not as much fun as our other Carnival Cruises.

The cabin was fine and the bedding was comfortable, in fact I wanted to take home my pillow it was so comfy!

I will remain loyal to Carnival but I will not be going on any more short cruises.
