When we got back home I said to my husband "If I would have known what this cruise would be like, I would not have gone". And to my surprise, he agreed.. We are in our 70's. Our biggest complaint is that the ship was boring - for us. I know some will say that a cruise is what you make it to be. But, other than spa sessions there were few schedules events during the day - no music, no enrichment lectures, no movies. When we asked about movies we were told that the stage was being used for practice. Not even 2 hrs on a ten day cruise could it be used for a movie? There was a 50's and 60's music show at 10:30-midnight. Not a great time for 50's and 60's music fans. The ship is definitely geared to younger cruisers. The two-70 had a virtual music show on its screens. I noticed that 2/3 of the people attending walked out within the first five minutes. I wondered if the cruise director noticed this. The food was not all that great. We tried the new dynamic dining four evenings then decided to eat in the windjammer. The pasta seafood and surf and turf was delicious. And 1/2 price wine every night. Momma Mia and the guest entertainers were wonderful, except the latter didn't start until 10:30. Why not have some matinees? The ship is beautiful but not cozy. The crew were all wonderful. My husband thinks that because the ship is moving to China, there is not much effort being made to make any changes to it. We are going to stick to the smaller ships.
Cabin was roomy. Beds and bedding were comfortable. Shower very large. Large tv screen. Lots of closet and drawer space. Quiet.
