Will as usual, we had a fantastic time on a princess ship. The regal is an amazing ship, new and elegant. From the moment you step on the ship you are blown away by it's beauty. The piazza is a great place to sit and relax with a good coffee or to dance to the music by some great performers. As usual the food was very good in both the horizon court as well as the dining rooms. The issue we had on this cruise, that we never encountered on our previous cruises was the staff in the horizon court did not seem very welcoming or as attentive. A lot of times the tables were not cleaned off and if they were , the staff put new utensils on without wiping the table off and you could see they were dirty. I would think that if you have a hand washing station at the entrance of the buffet, it would also be good to keep the tables clean. There is also a person standing at the hand washing station who could be better served helping the staff as they seem to need it, and a sign would suffice at the hand washing station. One of the things I love about princess is how welcoming the staff is, so this was a bit disappointing. Although it did not affect our cruise overall, I think it is something Princess needs to work on. Now I room steward was the opposite, he was excellent and as always very had working and attentive. We did not see many shows, but the ones we did were very good. One thing we did miss on the new Regal, is not having a promenade that goes around the complete 7 th deck like on older princess ships. They have a jogging track on the upper decks, but is sometimes very windy and you have to walk around it many times compared to if you were walking around the promenade. All in all this was a very nice cruise and the Regal is a beautiful ship.
Very nice cabin, bigger shower, a bit smaller balcony, but nice all the same.
