I was advised against cruising on Costa lines and rightly so! The shower has no cold/hot water pressure regulators so you are either getting cold or scalding hot. The dining room is 100% staffed with waiters from Asia who learned a bit of waitering on the job. We consistently got our fist course 1 hour and 15 minutes after we sat down and finished in 2.5 - 3 hours. The food was the worst on any of my last 22 cruises both lunch and dinner. Make sure you don't order steak or lamb chops, they are inedible unless you sharpen your teeth before the meal. The breakfast buffet area is totally inadequate for the number of passengers. In 12 days I never found a table to have my meal inside, only around the pool. The shows were a step below Karaoke grade with the exception of a male baritone/tenor duo. I found the announcements in 5 languages annoying especially since the volume was at its maximum. The product is geared towards 3rd world passengers and the proof is that they embark / disembark about 500 guests in Guadeloupe who make a mess in the buffet area especially around the food stations. In conclusion I counted the hours left to disembarkation time.

Cabin Review

Panoramic Suite with Balcony

The best part of the cruise was the suite, spacious, lots of closet and drawer space. The bathroom had double sink, a tub/shower combination and ample towels. The only problem was the hot/cold water adjustment. The veranda was spacious and everything was kept clean.
