We enjoyed our cruise on the Splendor. We were especially happy with our aft view balcony cabin that we obtained as a guarantee from a special one-day halloween sale. An unbelievable bargain!

This was only our second cruise on Carnival, but 13th overall. Carnival offers a very a good product for the price charged. We have sailed many times with Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Many things are fairly consistent across the three lines, from our perspective. We are happy to be on a cruise any day, and unless something really goes wrong, we are very easily pleased on any ship.

As we sailed the NCL Epic the following week, we do have a couple compares that quickly come to mind. If you are into karaoke, then Carnival is the line for you. They do the karaoke thing much better than NCL. However, if you are looking for quality entertainment, NCL should probably be your line of choice. Both have great entertainment options, but we believe entertainment on NCL, no matter what ship, seems to be better on NCL. Read more
