The beach is fine at Margaritaville as are the drinks and food. It is somewhat expensive compared to the states, however, everything does cost more to get it to the islands. So I just pay.

Ocho Rios

Best of the 3 islands visited on this cruise as far as things to do around town on your own. Internet is available free at most bars and cafes.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

If you like to be accosted by an inexhaustible supply of merchants reaching out to literally grab you and pull you into their sale cave, you have arrived at your utopia.Remember, never pay the going advertised price. Negotiating is not only what you should do, it is expected. That is how business is done in Cozumel.

Cozumel

The Epic was fun but not what I would expect with the multitude of extra costs at every turn taking it down a notch in my opinion from the quaintness of the smaller (perhaps older) ships.

- Hot tubs are like a choosing "a pig in a poke" guess as to which one is hot and which is not
- Gym equipment was not always an easy task to operate as far as the screen read-out goes
- Casino is central on the ship at deck 6 so to get to many places, other than the casino, you'll have to traverse the casino and all its noise and cigarette smoke
Having covered all this, I want to offer the same evaluations on the Mini-Suite MX that we stayed in:
* The cost for this 7 day to the Western Caribbean was $649 ea.Unfortunately you will pay a cover a charge for the luxury of dining in Speciality Restaurants
* For the best views try to locate on the starboard side of the ship whether port hole or balcony
* Ship is very clean and sanitized through out
* Ships stabilizers performed admirably
* Many hot tubs on pool deck and deck 15 at Spice H2O
* Gym: If you are into exercise you won't be disappointed in the workout area with close to 50 pieces of equipment
NOW THE NEGATIVE:
- Mega means larger than normal and this is one of the largest with about 4200 passengers + crew = 6000 total
- Embarkation is not smooth and you will proceed up steps (carrying or dragging your luggage) before you finally get to the multitude of ship ramps.
