My boyfriend and I took this cruise on January 23, 2015. This was our second cruise together, and our first one on a Carnival ship. We live in Charleston, so after watch the ship come and go for years, we decided to go for it.
Embarkation was very easy. My dad dropped us off, and a shuttle took us right to the terminal. We got there on the early side, and the lines moved very quickly. All the employees were helpful in moving us along, and I think we were through security and walking on board with stateroom keys in hand in less than 45 minutes.
Our room was clean, and our room steward, Lawrence was great. We bumped into him in the hallway, and he knew our names right away. He didn't have to rack his brain or refer to a muster list - he just called us by name as easily as he would if we had been friends for awhile. He also did a great job of keeping our room straight, pointing us in the right direction on the ship, and making adorable towel animals.

Interior
Our room wasn't amazingly spacious floor-wise, but there was plenty of storage. The room had three closets, drawers, and a desk area with drawers. I was able to hang up most of my clothes, and stow my suitcase and shoes in one of the closets. (The room had like 10 hangers - I always bring extra). The bathroom was roomy and the shower was nice. The only startling thing is that the lid of the toilet touches the flush button on the wall behind you, so sometimes you will accidentally flush the toilet while you are still seated! The beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, and with no windows, your room is so dark that you can sleep well past sunrise without realizing it. That may be problematic to some, but it was nice for us! We really enjoyed our room, and if you get Lawrence as your steward, you will be well taken care of!
