Unfortunately, this has been one of the most boring vacations that I have ever had in my lifetime. The entertainment and activities on the ship were geared primarily towards the over-65 age group, and there was almost nothing in the way of the pool-side party atmosphere that I had expected.

With 5 sea days, and with two ports being only half days, this became a real problem. In fact, I spent so much time in the gym for lack of anything else to do that I actually lost 5 pounds during the 11 day cruise. When was the last time you heard that?

The only attempt at a theme party was the night leaving Acapulco with a midnight Mexican buffet, but with an early port call and excursion in Zihua the next day, that made no sense and would have worked better as an afternoon buffet for people who were tired of the street beggars in Acapulco. In general, the street entertainment around the port markets was of a better quality and more lively than the entertainment on the ship throughout the cruise.
