This was our fourth cruise, first with RCCL. We normally cruise in January/February to escape the cold and grey of the Northeast. Overall we enjoyed our experience but had a couple of hiccups along the way. Nothing that ruined the trip, just a couple of minor inconveniences.

EMBARKATION:

We arrived at approximately noon after navigating through pretty heavy traffic in the port area. Our cab driver said that it was the worst he had ever seen. We had a very difficult time finding a porter to take our luggage and ended up asking for luggage tags and leaving our bags with a group of other bags at the side of the curb. Luckily our luggage made it onboard!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin E1

We cruised with friends for the first time who were in the room next door (7618.) To our surprise they were adjoining rooms. We asked our steward to open the verandas as well and this created one large veranda between the two rooms,.Our room was what we expected. A little larger than our past cruises but nothing spectacular. I will say that the pilllows were fairly poor. Those were the only thing that made me miss my bed at home. Overall the room was nice, the bed was comfortable and clean. We felt little to no motion during the trip while in our room. The 7th floor seemed to be a sweet spot for me as it was halfway between the Promenade and the Pool deck.
