Along with friends from the U.K. which we met on previous cruises aboard NCL ships, my husband and I booked this cruise to the Eastern Carib. It is our habit to book full suites, mainly for the amenities suites cruising offers. At first, we booked a mini-suite, but upgraded later at nearly double the fare. The suite was very nice, but that is where the benefits ended...we should have stayed with the mini-suite...that is how we were treated. The promised amenities, paid for dearly, either did not appear or had to be requested. Both couples in our party received the same generally poor service, although our room steward was efficient, friendly and overworked.

In dining venues... poor. Priority boarding and disembarkation was non existent. To be blunt, we were, in fact, the last two people to disembark after waiting three hours. We waited, waited, waited and realizing we had been forgotten finally heard our name called. A lady from cruise services rudely complained "you are the last two passengers on this ship." When we inquired about the expected escort through customs she grabbed another lady and rudely replied "I am not escorting you, you will just have to find your way. " Which is what we did. Moral is...don't pay for services that won't be provided on Princess.
