We replicated our very first cruise 15 years ago in January for our 14th cruise. For reference, our preferred cruise lines (in order) are Disney (3x), Carnival (8x), Royal Caribbean (2x) and Norwegian (1x). After reading many unflattering reviews, we wanted to add our opinion.

Embarkation: Never better! Faster to the Fun wasn’t necessary, since we boarded around 11:45, and the “regular” people embarked soon after. Our room was ready immediately, and our luggage arrived before 2 pm.

Stateroom: Haven’t been without a balcony in years, but the oceanview was fine for the short cruise. My one and only complaint is in the stateroom: CLEAN THE PORTHOLE! I’m guessing they use hard water when they hose the ship down, because we were looking through streaks. Everything was clean and in working order. Read more
