Traveled with children

Having already travelled with Thomson on several cruises as a couple over the years, we decided to book with them along with our son, his partner and 20-month old daughter. We have previously booked online for all holidays but as we were taking our young granddaughter decided to book through an agent to ensure that we booked the right cruise for a child of her age. The rep assured us that Thomson catered for such young children including amenities and play areas. I have never felt the need to write a review before but feel compelled to do so on this occasion to warn other families considering taking toddlers on the Dream to be aware of the following:

No baby-changing facilities in ANY of the toilets on the ship, we were forced to change the baby on the toilet floor or on a changing mat on a sun lounger- completely degrading and humiliating - especially as the majority of passengers showed no compassion and simply looked down their nose at you.

No child-friendly safe play areas on any of the decks, enclosed areas were for sun beds only, obviously more important to Thomson than providing a bit if space for toddlers to play in.
