We sailed on the Crown Princess from San Pedro to Santa Barbara and Ensenada in a balcony cabin on Baja deck. We found the Crown to be in good shape but in need of an upgrade. We arrived at the pier around 1130am and were on the ship about 12:10p. We went to the dining room for lunch but were not impressed by the menu or service. We were assigned a wheelchair accessible balcony cabin which was great. The cabin, bathroom and balcony are larger than the normal cabin to accommodate a wheelchair. We did ask for additional towels and a top sheet for the bed. The steward did question us about why we needed two additional towels, but did make sure we had them everyday. We chose anytime dining and did not have any problems. This was only a 4 night cruise and the ship was not full so that may have made it easier. The first day I called the dine line and made a reservation for 730p. Dinner in the Da Vinci was great, service was fast and food wonderful. We did also eat in the Michelangelo and did not find the service as good as the Da Vinci. We found the food to be better than we had on the Golden in August. Tender service in Santa Barbara was great but that also could be because we did not have a full ship. We did not take any tours but spent time in Santa Barbara on our own. We had to wait about 1/2hr to get on a mini bus (.25 cents for seniors) which took us up the main street in town. In Ensenada we did not get off of the ship. We went to the comedy show, and really enjoyed the comic. We enjoyed the 4 night and would do it again.
