Great cruise , the transfer after arrival at Barbados Airport was perfect as we went from the plane straight on to buses parked on the Tarmac and a 40 minute journey to the ship. Once off the bus we went into a large shed at the port and had a photo taken ,credit card details done and passports checked , all very efficient and reasonably quick. We then boarded the ship and made our way to our cabin after our boarding picture was taken. The cabin was good and clean , bed was comfortable and we had a balcony which was a good size. Food and entertainment were very good and shows were well worth going to every evening.Wine in the restuarant was approx £15 a bottle and bar prices were very reasonable with no surcharge on them , so prices cheaper than most city centre bars. All ports were interesting and trips available at good rates when purchased from local tours, which gave you plenty of time to enjoy and to return to the ship. On day of departure we were out of cabin for 9 am but hand luggage is stored for you in the Arena theatre ,allowing you to go in to Barbados for a few hours before returning to ship for your Airport transfer . All in all any negative reviews I read did not match my experience except I would prefer less smoking areas on board. Also tips per person per day are £3.95 which is very reasonable compared to other cruise lines , so all things taken into consideration I would certainly cruise with P & O again .
