Been on Carnival several cruises. Our last cruise I said no more but this time I lost the vote and we did the Liberty.

Pros: Clean ship- GREAT cruise director in Craig Johnson. He is involved with the guests-know how to engage people in activities and has a great enthusiastic staff. There were activities going on all the time. Of all our cruises on all lines this guys is the best! Don't miss his music reviews of motown, country etc.

The ship was very clean and well taken care of- Our cabin was nice-we had a balcony and the room was great for 8 days. The attendant "Mr. A" was also the best that we have ever had. he seemed to be there anytime you needed and our cabin was spotless and he was always there wanting to know if we needed anything. Really an impressive guy. Entertainment was nice and a fair variety. A group from the Philippines and "Two for you" are two groups that make it enjoyable every evening to listen to. By the crowds they attracted it was obvious people liked them. The piano bar with Barry is sad as he really thinks he is terrific but actually he was boring. The DJ was OK at best but into a little heavier rock than we like. Liked the big shows.
