This is our reaction to our Dec 26, 2014 – January 5, 2015 on the Norwegian Spirit to Casablanca, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Funchal and Malaga.

First thing, I am not sure there are any bad cruises, rather there are levels of good or excellent. No one was injured or rushed to the hospital, yet of our 22 cruises, this ranks in the bottom 10%. It was, as the title denotes, Second Class Cruising.

The atmosphere of the ship and the crew was just OK. A sense of boredom or repetition was often present. I am in my 11th year of my current job and it’s clear some days are not new and vibrant, but a personal effort is required to work beyond this kind of feeling. The crew and ship management were not up to this extra effort.
