A brief disclaimer: we are HAL fans. What we liked about our January voyage was that the ship was run so smoothly. We usually have to overlook a few "hiccups" or we realize that the cruise is steadily improving each day, as the crew gets used to the new passengers, or we have to ignore a few things that don't get done, because the staff and crew are just so gracious! The only thing we found to criticize- really laugh about- was room service arriving early!
Our booking is done a couple of months ahead thru our wonderful PCC, because we have found that to be very efficient- one call and done!
We drive to Pt. Everglades and park at Park n Fly, which is right off the highway after we cross over from the gulf side. The shuttles are efficient, and very frequent, going row by row to pick up parkers and their bags. We have never waited at parking lot or port.
Right across from Neptune- and from service door to Neptune. We found it convenient, but it is a busier spot than farther down the corridor.
