Let me start out by saying this is our second Celebrity Cruise. We started on the Century then tried Princess and Carnival. We have always used the Celebrity Cruise as our benchmark so my expectations where high. We had a C1 stateroom 6144 and the balcony was huge. Three times the length of a normal balcony so this is a room to get. It was quiet and in a good spot. Check in at Ft Lauderdale was excellent and we were on the ship in half an hour tops. Sorry to say we get no priority check in with Concierge any longer. Took until 1 to get to the room and met our room stewart shortly after. He seemed eager to please at that time. We had sparkling wine in room...no more flowers and asked him to empty fridge and fill ice bucket and he did. We had classic package for drinks and hubby ordered a corona to be told they didn't have any so they suggested a dos equis he said sure and they proceeded to charge him as this is not in the classic package....might have told him prior to opening and serving. He went to complain and ended up upgrading, not sure it was necessary but was off on a bad foot. When arriving there was debris on our balcony and our chairs were dirty. Never cleaned during the cruise and our balcony tables were never wiped down. One evening we went to dinner came back to freshen up and our room was not turned down etc but we went back out. Returned at midnight...room not cleaned....no towels. Called housekeeping and they said we must have left the DO NOT DISTURB sign in place.....no we did not. They delivered two bath towels and that was it. We had to give them our dirty towels, no apology.

Had anytime dining and that was a mess. We make reservations prior to sailing and waited in line each night for at least 20 minutes. No reservations waited and got a buzzer and were able to sit and have a drink while waiting. One night we tried to get a buzzer and were told no go as we had reservations so we had to wait. Food was either good or really bad. Service in dining room was acceptable but not what we were used to.

Entertainment was good. We enjoyed the variety of shows and the improv duo was great. Game shows are fun and the Captain was very entertaining. Cruise director was good but seemed to be stretched VERY THIN. Three in total in his staff including him!

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

Large Balcony three times the normal. In between suites so it is quiet and in a great spot. Next to the cabin is a "fire access' that staff only can access. They went out there to make personal phone calls a lot so this was annoying. Room was not kept clean our room stewart seemed to prefer to clean the suites.
