Did 3 night cruise to Nassau on the Sensation last week....have been following reviews for the last couple of months and there seemed to be a lot of negatives..have to say we did not experience any of that. embarkation was very easy and quick...crew was always friendly and helpful..couldn't have asked for a better cabin steward...we chose the "your time dining" and were able to have the same wait staff each night...they were great....bar staff was also friendly and not over aggressive. The food in the dining room did not disappoint...buffet was...well..a buffet...but we were not dissatisfied. Yes...the ship is somewhat dated...a lot of purple...but it was not offensive...kind of a throwback atmosphere. The entertainment was great...enjoyed the Vegas type shows..the comedians were definitely adults only...but that was known. The music outside the casino was a bit loud...but that area was "busy" with a "party" crowd...so we went to the other side of the casino...no problem.

We chose to stay on the ship while we were in Nassau, as we have been there several times...had a relaxing afternoon/evening. The sea day was again filled with many activities...or you could choose to just do your own thing. The cruise director..Josh was super...always energetic and very welcoming.

Disembarkation was very well organized...did slow up a bit..but that was due to customs and border patrol..

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Our cabin was spacious enough for 2...it did have the bunk beds in the wall..but they posed no problem...not sure I would want to put more than 2 in there though...enjoyed the balcony.
