We sailed on the Carnival Sunshine once in the past. We were lured into the "first evening special" of the free bottle of wine if you eat at the steakhouse. We were impressed then by the service, ambiance, and appetizers, but the overall evening was diminished by the quality of the entrees.
We have experience with the "The Chef's Art" on the Carnival Dream as well as the "The Golden Fleece" on the Carnival Legend and both of those visits were superb.
This latest visit left us feeling quite a large bit better about Fahrenheit 555. They were offering the free bottle of wine special on the first and second nights. We opted to visit our assigned table mates on night one and went to the steakhouse on the elegant night {day 2}.
Best category 8A on the vessel. You have a hidden door to your room in the rear and an oddly laid out room but the balcony is enormous! These book quickly so grab it if you can. No negatives, no noise from the adjacent crew stair or storage doors. There is a bit of noise from the spooling of the big mooring lines in the early hours {sounds like a whine}, shouldn't upset a normal sleeper. I believe they start to unwind the big spools to put the slack out on the floor and be available quickly when we dock. There is also a gurgling sound in the bathroom only from plumbing on the other side of the bathroom wall, but you can't hear it in the room at all.Get this one it is a jewel.
