On the Final night of the cruise the dinning staff sang a cute goodbye song, when they stopped singing my son hugged me and told me "I never want to get off this ship." Now that's a very good indication that my son really enjoyed his first cruise.

I have to admit that I only selected this cruise for cost and convenience for us. I had always wanted to take an Alaskan cruise and before I paid for a trip, I wanted to make sure that my son and I wouldn't spend our vacation time sick in bed. There was no problem here!

The ship is great for kids and adults alike. My son discovered the waterslides, miniature golf course, and the all you can eat self serve ice-cream and he was set. However, the Punch Line comedy club was great. We both enjoyed the comics that were performing. We watched only one other show of Australian Dancers....no, not Thunder from Down Under! It was a youth dance group.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Our cabin was an ocean view. It was sort of frustrating that the water stains on the exterior of the ship somewhat obstructed our ocean view. However, my son is a cuddler, and midway through our crew we had our cabin steward configure our room to a single queen configuration in lieu of the dual twin bed layout. The shower was warm, and easy to control, and the room met our needs and expectation.
