Overall, the ship and cruise was pleasant. We had a balcony room, but found it a little more cramped than others. Very little walk space around the beds. The entertainment was wonderful! A different show every night.. for 15 nights! All of the acts were very entertaining and professional. I appreciated that each night was different and they brought in a variety of entertain eras from song and dance to jugglers to magicians. We looked forward to it every night! The food was good, but Norwegian has way too many pay-extra restaurants. Sure, we like to go out on a special night, but one or two of these are enough. The food served in the complimentary restaurants and buffet was good, but the service was what you would expect at a neighborhood restaurant. Most cruises provide more luxurious service, even in their complimentary facilities.

Provide more comfortable sitting areas! There weren’t any! That is our major complaint about the ship. There were no places to just sit and relax and look out the window. Most seating was hard chairs and in the buffet area. Only comfortable chairs were in the lounges and bars. We found one spot with tables and chairs where people could play cards or board games, but they closed it for another pay as you go restaurant at 3:15 p.m. Come on people, not everyone goes on cruises just to dance and visit bars. We often do it just to relax… give us a place to do so!

We would grade entertainment as an A+, food as a B, and comfort as a D.

Balcony

The balcony was a little more cramped than most. The bed arrangement did not allow you to walk past the beds to the balcony when the second bed was made up for a third person. The table was in an awkward position by the balcony door.
