I have to say that this is the first time I will have a review Norwegian Cruise Line that shows negative remarks. This is the only cruise line that I have used since my first cruise. I've been on the Jewel, Pearl, Dawn, Epic, and now the Getaway. Each time I have come back things were better, until now. Please keep in mind that after being on the very open and comfortable Epic, I have no choice but to compare the Getaway to her.

1. Everything was so compact on this ship, and that made crowding an issue. From Spice H2O, to Howl at the Moon, it was shoulder to shoulder.

2. Bliss was a total disappointment to me as I am a night club lover. Compared to all the ships I've been on, this failed in all categories. It was basically a long rectangular room with metal tables and chairs and no bar stools. It was not the plush comfortable clubs that I have come to know and love on all the other ships.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B3

I was very impressed with the cabin and staff that served us during our cruise. Arnold, our room steward was out standing and left us wanting for nothing. The improvements to the storage in our room was a happy change and we found that we didn't need to use all the storage offered. The two large draws under the sofa made for easy access and stowage.
