We saw that this cruise price was about 1/3 of the normal rate because it was right after New Years'. So, we had miles and if we flew over New Years' Eve, we could use half miles. Since we were flexible with our travel dates, we pulled the trigger and definitely do not regret it.

We had 2 days in Rome and 2 days after (again, the extra time was due to the flexibility) and stayed at the Campo De Fiori. We would highly recommend that hotel and would definitely stay there again if in Rome. We arranged for a car from the hotel to the port, which was nice.

When we booked, we took advantage of getting The Haven and were glad we did. My wife and I were traveling with our 10 year old son. So, we had the 2 bedroom suite and loved it. It was huge and our son loved having his own space. Our butler (Hipolito) and cabin steward (Arnel) were great and took a special interest in our son to help him feel at home (we're from the US so this was his first trip overseas).

Cabin Review

Courtyard Villa with Balcony

Cabin H4

The room was great and huge. Lots of storage space. There were 3 of us and we could comfortably eat in when we wanted to. The coffee machine was awesome. Our son liked his room and slept in the bunk. He kept the bunk pulled down so that he effectively had his fort set up. We liked that the master bath had a door for the toilet but it was largely transparent so there wasn't much for privacy there. However, we'd definitely do this room again.
