We had a great time on the cruise ship and it was an excellent deal. I ended up being able to book this 8 night cruise for $260 each!!! Every time it went on sale I'd call Carnival and they would refund me. We had a great time in St Thomas and plan on going back. The water was wonderful at Maegans Bay! We got a taxi on our own and she gave us the same tour for $8 each that the Shore Excursions was offering for around 35-50 each. At each port we got our own cabs and had great tours from them. At Antiqua we paid a cab driver $6 each to take us to Dickenson Beach but he brought us to a different beach that was closer (cheaper for him) but told us it was Dickenson. We found out later that it wasn't. Others we talked to had great experiences in Antigua. We thought that Nassau was our least favorite place. They hounded you too much to buy stuff and they closed down at 5:30pm. We took a $4.00 ferry to Paradise Island and the guide was very funny! We took a cab back for $4 or $6. The Bahamas water was very pretty but too rough to go in. No where on the island to change and had to change right on the beach hiding behind towels. They had stong warnings about crime in the Bahamas also. Puerto Rico was great!! Take a cab for $15 for two to the beach instead of $49 each for a tour. We dined at a table for 2 most nights but at the end decided to try sharing a table. That is the way to go. It was so much more fun talking with other people. We were shy and nervous at first but I would recommend doing this!

Room is very quite and dark. We enjoyed it very much. I had the patch on so I didn't feel seasick but on the first night the waves were very hard and you really could feel the movement and hubby started to feel sick. The captain in your neighbor. The Bridge is right there. King size bed and the room was fine. Didn't feel small.
