First of all, we had a fantastic time. The Elation was a very nice ship, smaller, but that is what we prefer. As soon as we walked on the ship we knew we were going to have a great cruise. Our room was in an ideal location, near everything. My husband especially liked having a bar in the atrium, only a few yards away. We enjoyed the band that was playing, and continued to play each day. They were great! Our luggage was at our door within a couple of hours, so we were able to change and start enjoying the warm weather almost immediately. The "fun day at sea" was great. I am a people watcher and there were many unique, fun people to watch because Carnival had provided a lot of entertaining activities. We like casual dining, so we generally ate at Tiffany's. The pizza was great and being a vegetarian, I really enjoyed the well supplied salad bar. Breakfast also was great, everything you could think of and more.

Our first port was Grand Turk. We had a ball at Margaritaville and the beach. I felt like I was in my twenties again. I am not sure if the college kids or the older folks were having more fun, everyone interacted. The second port was Half Moon Cay. Unbelievable! It was gorgeous. Carnival made sure there was plenty to do too. Lots of excursions to choose from, we really enjoyed the one we went on. The last port was Nassau. We went to Paradise Island and Senor Frog's. Both were a lot of fun. There was a lot to see and do, we loved it. My husband and I are also big on working out. The gym on the Elation was wonderfully well-equiped and opened at 7:00am. I would highly recommend this cruise.
