My husband and I have cruised on several cruise lines ( Royal Caribbean, Princess, Carnival). Our cruise last summer was on the Allure and it was fabulous!! I have read many reviews and they said it was like being at a resort and not a cruise. I feel it was like a floating resort!! It seemed to me that everything that was an issue on a smaller ship was fixed on this ship! I can't image anyone having any complaints, unless you just like to complain. There truly is something for everyone. Some of the highlights for me were the variety of pools. I think 5 or 6 pools from adult only to the kiddie pool with child size chairs. I never had to look for a lounge chair, there seemed to be enough for everyone. I also loved the promenade area, make your own pizza, cupcake shop, coffee shop, and of course all the other boutiques. I can't forget to mention Central Park or the Boardwalk, all very well done. In truth I didn't need to even go to any ports at all, 7 days at sea would be perfect for me. All that being said, we have booked another cruise for March 2015 and we choose the Independence of the Sea. we have sailed on this ship before and we really like the size of this ship most of all. In my opinion you can't go wrong with Royal Caribbean.
I always choose an interior room. I like dark when I sleep so this is a perfect choice for me. Also, I prefer to spend my money on other things, my room is to shower and sleep!
