We have 55 plus cruises under our belt and knew exactly what to expect from this short cruise during the doldrums of winter. The ship and its crew did not disappoint at any level. Our sea days were spent in the quiet of the Solarium reading our books, listening to good music (we bought our own) and meeting fellow cruisers. The entertainment was excellent and the pianist,John Bressler, stands out. The guitarist in the Schooner Lounge and the string and piano ensemble were also superb.

Our stops were Grand Cayman and Cozumel. At both ports we pre-arranged for day passes at upscale resorts. Our day pass in the Cayman Islands was spent at the Westin Hotel where it included a hotel room, access to the beach and pools and use of all non-motorized beach equipment.

In Cozumel we ventured to the Occidental Grand Hotel. While the day pass did not include a room it did provide access to the pools, beach, lounges and tiki huts for shade. All drinks and food were part of the deal.
