Well having read the previous reviews I think I must have been on a different ship! However, I double check and yes, it was the Azura and it sailed from Barbados on the 27th December taking in many beautiful ports of call.

Travelling as a family, with two teenagers, we had eagerly anticipated our Caribbean cruise over New Year, infact we had booked it 18 months before! We were not disappointed the itinery was fantastic, we visited some amazing islands and saw so much. St Lucia, St Kitts, St Martaan and Curaco were our favourites. We have cruised around the Caribbean before and previously found lots of the islands to be similar, but not this itinery. It was very varied and we would love to return to all of the islands. Although the port in Dominica was not the best! Nowhere to walk to and the locals made you feel a little uncomfortable. We opted to do our own thing on the islands rather than booking the P&O trips. For a family of four (all adult prices) the cost was very high. We managed to see lots and met lots of friendly locals along the way. It was very easy to get a taxi to and from the sights/beaches.

Back on board, we opted for an inside cabin, which although small, it was adequate, we believe we come on holiday to see the sights, not sit in a cabin. Thats where we sleep! Our cabin steward was fantastic, very efficient, caring and helpful. He really looked after us.
