Our second cruise to the Pacific Islands but first with RCL. Embarkation and disembarkation was brilliant. Great organisation from OPT staff in Sydney. Ship a little tired in places but generally clean and enjoyable to be on. Great staff in MDR and room attendant- credit to RCL. Some bar staff abrupt- especially main pool area.Slarium area was great and well controlled with regards to children being in pool. Food- generally great Some bland dishes but meals were a highlight each day. Windjammer was good despite our hesitation with buffet dishes. Entertainment was a mixed bag. Enjoyed some shows and others were the same old, Teenagers/children- were told there were 800 on board. Not really an issue but they had to move teens into a favourite lounge of ours to cope with them. Had occasional issues with children running up and down passages lat at night. We missed out on Port Vila due to weather concerns which made our four day return a bit long at sea. Would have been good if they could have organised a stop at one of the islands...

All in all and enjoyable cruise but a few niggles here and there.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

More than adequate except for the silly shower curtain! Bed was really hard but most probably did my back some good.LOL. Would be happy to have this cabin again. Central to everyyting. with a bit of a walk from elevators.
