Sail Date: Jan 2015
Cabin: Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

My group of 53 sailed on the Brilliance of the Seas on January 3, 2015. I've been reading some of the reviews and I can't believe we were on the same ship! For an older ship the Brilliance was spotless, no rust and the cabins and public rooms were beautiful. Royal did a great job refurbishing the Brilliance. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The staff was excellent and not one time did I or anyone in the group run into anyone that was less than excellent.

Food and Dining: The food in the main dining room was good. The wait staff were very friendly and provided great service.

Windjammer was clean and the selection was good. Yes it was mostly the same everyday but its a buffet.

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

My cabin was at D2 Balcony cabin 1604 on the very aft of the ship. Excellent excellent excellent!! Cabin was spotless and well maintained. Plenty of room and storage space. The balcony was huge with two loungers, table and two normal chairs. No need to fight the crowds at the pool area when you can sunbathe on your own balcony which I did. Plus you can't beat the perfect view!!!
