I can only assume that ships dock in Noumea on a Sunday as Berthing fees are less.Do not book a cruise to Noumea if you are arriving on a Sunday. The place is closed for business. If you do need to arrive on a Sunday ensure you take an excursion or stay on the ship.Lifou was another stop but not listed.$15 for snorkelling (well worth it) they have installed steps to water which was a huge improvement.Lots of people getting their hair braided.I think variety of local foods etc last time I visited more extensive.Saw a turtle as well left island on tender.Lifou gets 4 Stars.

Noumea

Would love to write a review on this Port, been there once before but , RC decided that there was a possibility of a storm so we headed back to Sydney. Many Many passengers were not happy. We were give a BS story about the weather. I assume it was just another way for RC to save money.

Port Vila

Cabin was fine, bed comfortable. TV was good but channels and variety were very poor. Shower small but ok.Cabin attendant was not intrusive.

Touch screens on board were very good as it allowed you to see what was going on at any particular time (as well as providing directions)
Getting on and off the ship not an issue.I would strongly suggest that anyone thinking of going on a cruise with RC and Rhapsody should really reconsider.
