I agree with every point Shazzy has made in previous review but would like to add a few more points.

We were on cruise for one week only and expected to stop at four ports in total. The reason we chose this itinerary was to sail through the Panama Canal alas had to pay £70 odd pounds to do it on an old ferry. We had a good guide but the coach was filthy and mega old didn't seem fit for the road. When we returned back to the ship we were notified we wouldn't be going to Costa Rica we were gutted we had already missed the San Blas Island due to high winds. The Captain informed us we would be staying in Colon for the night. We walked over the road to buy water and saw a sign no hand guns in store, needless to say we went back to the ship. The only tour that could be provided was the Canal again or a river trip ( had enough of water by now ) Took the shuttle bus to local shopping center for something to do. Well we didn't even get off the bus.The area around the port was like a ghetto it was filthy we saw children playing in rubbish and filthy water. The houses were falling down no one even had any windows, This was upsetting and not what we had expected to see. On return to the ship we heard the bike tour had to be escorted back by police due to an incident.Crew told us that other crew members had been attacked and robbed. We witnessed a fight in the street opposite the port. Why on earth do Thomson take people to this port. Our only other trip was Columbia this port was a massive industrial port shipping containers not a pretty sight. We had booked A taste of Cartagena half day panoramic tour. Again filthy old coach we got out for ten minutes to look a fort then went into town to be whizzed past a few sites. We then concluded our tour in a large hall watching local dancing. We were back at the ship in two hours. On complaining we were given a 30% refund. Not happy about this at all didn't go on holiday to get a refund we wanted to see the local town. Apparently they had forgotten to take us on part of the excursion. So we only had one day and two hours out in the whole week.

The ship itself was tired but what was expected. Cases were at cabin very quickly we went into our cabin which i had prebooked midships for £42. The cabin was not fit for use the noise was unbelievable the previous people had also complained about it according to a cabin steward. We were allocated another cabin right at the front of the ship 6020 we were refunded the £42 not what i wanted yet again. what a nightmare the sea was rough all week i felt every movement side to side up and down as did our neighbors. I spent ages everyday queuing with lots of other people for anti sickness pills.I missed three evenings out being ill and listening to people being sick in the surrounding cabins. Waited ages to be served drinks in bars not enough staff. Awful holiday.

Cabin Review

Cabin inside

Awful cabin at front of ship was rolling around all over the place in the rough seas which made me very ill for most of the holiday. I had booked a mid ships cabin for £42 but this was not fit for use. Refunded the £42 not the point i had wanted to be midships as less rolling.
