On December 29th, 2014 my partner and myself together with my 2 sons aged 17 and 19 boarded the Voyager of the Seas for a 14 day journey from Sydney to Fiji to New Zealand back to Sydney.

This was the 3rd cruise for us and the first for my sons. We were extremely excited as we previous cruises had been wonderful and we had "the cruising bug". Unfortunately this excitement was doused with overcrowding, understaffing, rudeness from many staff and a general feeling of being ripped off. What should have been an amazing cruise was one of mediocrity at best.

However we tried to rise above and made the best of it as we could and from a personal point of view enjoyed each other’s company and the company of some amazing people we met and had a fantastic time. I will go into further details below.

Interior Stateroom

Cabin M

The virtual balcony let a lot of natural light into the stateroom which was great. Very comfortable, no problems and our cabin attendant was excellent.
