My husband and I did the 4-night cruise to CocoCay and Nassau from 1/12-1/16. This was my first Royal Caribbean cruise and second cruise overall, having sailed on Carnival two years ago. We enjoyed our Carnival cruise, but had heard Royal Caribbean was a step up in quality, so decided to give it a shot this go round. Both cruises had pro's and con's, and pretty much ended up tied as far as which cruise I would take again. For our Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas vacation:

Pros:

-Staff was superb. Any issues were handled quickly and with a friendly smile. For instance when bad weather canceled our snorkel excursion on CocoCay, credit was immediately put on our card. I am not sure what happened to the other reviewer who says they lost their ship credit when their port stop was canceled. Also the Maitre'd helped me out when I wanted to schedule My Time dining outside of reservation request hours (9-11am or 2-4pm I think), since we were going to be out in port all day. When anything was needed, staff would either provide answers promptly or go find out if they didn't know. Bartenders were also great company, especially the fellow at the Casino bar. Wish I could remember his name!
