We sailed out of Miami on the Breeze Jan. 3rd. This was an eight night Eastern Caribbean cruise. We cruised on the Breeze when it first came to the United States so we were familiar with the ship. We spent the night before at Best Western Plus Miami airport north after a 12 hour drive down. It was a nice hotel with large rooms.

The ship was very clean and beautiful. The crew was very friendly. Our two favorites were Linda, our stewardess and Matt the cruise director. Linda was very sweet and did a great job cleaning our rooms. She was our favorite steward of any cruise we have taken. We also thought Matt was the best cruise director we have ever had.

We had two balcony rooms for the 6 of us on the Lido and had connecting balconies. One of my favorite parts of the cruise was sitting on our balcony. We have always loved the ship rocking. That is one reason we chose balcony rooms at the front. None of us have ever gotten sea sick before but I did on this cruise...just that terrible feeling. I had to skip dinner our last sea day. I ate lunch that day and then went to the chocolate buffet and then the big waves hit. When the rocking began, I started feeling sick and did not feel better till the next day. I ate 2 rolls that were brought to me. Linda said that those were the largest waves she has seen before without having wind. It was very calm out-just big waves.

We had two balcony rooms. 10212 and 10216. We were very happy with our rooms. It was our first time on the LIdo deck. We had rough seas and felt more rocking than usual. If you get sea sick, you would want to avoid these rooms. I have never gotten sea sick before until this cruise. I couldn't enjoy the rocking like I have in the past because of that sea sick feeling.
