I am a regular reviewer and I have never had to make a unkind review and I do not like complaining but I feel I have to warn potential passengers of my experience of cruising on the “Astor”. This was my fourth cruise this year and I am an experienced cruise passenger.

My problems started when I booked the cruise on-line from an advert in the West Australian Newspaper. The advert said; I should pay before a certain date because the price would go up. It didn’t the price went down. I wrote an email to the “Cruise and Maritine Company” to point this out and included the price difference. Their reply was trite, so I sent another email explaining my point of view. They did not reply.

From the minute I entered the ship to the minute I left, the staff who were manly Eastern European were indifferent, distant and quarrelsome. Read more
