I have always love cruising on the Dream , been doing it since 2010 . Sadly after the last 2 weeks I have changed my views Thomson are going down hill Do not get me wrong the Staff are still amazing and cannot do enough for you We flew from Manchester on the 30 Dec over 1hour late taking off Arrived Montego bay 10 ¼ hrs later Checking in was OK but being late had to rush for safety drill no problem, We had requested 2nd sitting for captains nite on new years eve when we booked but got 1st Checked with reception and it was on their screen so they changed it New years Eve was a good night open air party on top deck and bubbly at midnight .Next day got to Playa del carmen (tender stop ) some went ashore early but then it was decided the swell was to much so we left and went to Cozumel for the after noon and they arranged to get the other people there. Rest of week went OK Second week weather windy could not stop at San biss So just sailed that day Coleen next day did the trip on the canal enjoyed it but when we got back Captain said we could not dock at Costa Rica So we would be stopping at collen over night and have the day there and what a dump People complained nothing to do I asked if we would any thing back but was told Thomson do not do that. Next day a sea day then Montego bay And a 2 hr delay on the return flight. Got a message from home saying the flight was was delayed , but on the ship they said it was not. They just dumped us at airport at the normal time. No Thomson people there by the way Thomson advertised Jamaica as a Dreamliner we got a 767 As for entertainment The shows still good and the crew as talent excellent ; but sadly the bar enertainment very poor Heart and Soul in the Tides bar and have always been good but the y left after the 1st week and it was like she did not want to be there 2nd week no one to take their place.

We did get some artists that walked round the bar playing at the tables but if you were the other side of the room you could not hear them.Strum Jam were in the Medusa lounge a long with all the quiz’s an game shows Keith was in the Delo bar 1st week then 2nd did some in tides along with a violinist and pianist which was not our choice of music on a night out

Thomson have done work on the ship since we were last on The argo as gone and it is the Explour bar Comfortable and nice coffee and cocktails Ocean bar is remaned Tides with new carpet and some funiture. Read more
