Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cruise. We loved the ship and the ports (with one exception). Even though the ship is right around a year old, it still comes across as brand new. There is plenty to do across a wide range of categories.

You will read plenty of reviews that the only way to get good food was to go to the specialty restaurants and pay extra. We did zero specialty restaurants (unless you want to count Illusionarium) and had no problem eating well and enjoying the food. Our only issue was with O'Sheehan's. Both times we ate there the service was slow. One of the waiters was downright surly. That was the only time though that the wait staff was less than stellar. All other times we ate in the MDRs, the wait staff were exceptional.

We liked the Eastern Caribbean itinerary of St. Maarten & St. Thomas. Nassau, not so much. In fact, we only got off the ship in Nassau long enough to say we did. Otherwise we stayed onboard and enjoyed the empty ship that day.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

We really liked this cabin. It is arranged where the bed is close to the balcony (I think all cabins rated for four people are set up this way). We also liked that we were fairly close to the aft staircase and only one deck below the buffet. It is on the port side. It is too high and tucked under the deck above to see the fireworks.
