I took my family on this ship and we were totally horrified of some of the things we experienced. First of all this is not a cruise to take a family with kids. The staff were uncaring and did not go out the way to assist with anything. During formal night, my grand daughter stomach was upset so I asked our wait staff if they could bring her claim chowder soup .... the waiter looked me in the eyes and said "no". I was totally surprised of his answer. The following night, I asked the waiter if there was anything we could do for entertainment for the kids, this was our second night on the ship and could not find anything in the program, again the waiter replied "no". Every time I would ask a question or for assistance it was if no one really cared to help.

The ship is beautiful and the food pretty good but entertainment for kids is non existing and the staff is terrible! While riding the guest elevator alone, one of the staff member pushed 2 tall towel racks on to the elevator, causing me to squeeze into a corner. One night while eating in the restaurant I witnessed a staff member sitting in the guest area eating desert. On another occasion I saw a staff member sitting in the guest area texting.

I have been on 9 cruises, just about all with my family. I can say this was the worst cruise by far I had the displeasure of going on. We were so discontent and unhappy that we could not wait to get off the ship. During disembarkation, we were instructed to wait in the casino until our number was called. Clearly the attendant saw my grand kids standing with us... vociferously I refused to take the kids into the casino, so I was told sit off to the side with my family.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Our cabin was small and poorly designed. Our grand kids were located in bunk beds above both my wife's and my bed. The bunk beds were awkward and poorly designed. My wife hit her head and injured her shoulder several times on the corner of one of the beds. My grand daughter hit her head several times as well. With the ladders in place, connected to the bed, it was virtually impossible to pass by them without tripping. Often times at night we world take the ladder and set them off to the side but that only created trouble, the kids would hang off the bed to get down and fall because there was no ladder.
