The new cruise terminal at pier 27 is wonderful. Getting on the ship was a breeze. We were upgraded to a balcony two days before the cruise. That was wonderful. It was our 4th cruise on princess. We already put a deposit on our next cruise. Not sure where it will be yet but will figure that out later. I suggest you take advantage of this perk. You get ship board credit based on what kind of cabin you choose and how long the cruise is. We had such wonderful fellow dinner guests. Some of the best we have ever had. Our waiter was wonderful. He was training a new assistant. It was encouraging to see someone improve his skills within our 10 day cruise. We went whale watching in cabo. Saw several whales and had a nice time. Lareto is a very nice port we had not been to before. La Paz was interesting but probably not a future destination favorite for us. Puerto Vallarta was warm as usual. Kind of board with that port. We have been there numerous times. I think we need to find another excursion to go on next time or spend time at the pool on board. Our room steward was as always fabulous. The closet in our room on the aloha deck was very large. That was really nice. A guest singer and pianist Derek Floyd was one of the best singers we have ever heard on any of our 16 cruises. The comedians were really good also. The production shows were very entertaining. I think one of the lead singers was pregnant. It might have been here last cruise for a while. Looked like she was having a little trouble dancing. She was good though. All in all the food was delicious and everything went well. We sailed into port on day ten but the fog rolled in so we had to drop anchor right outside of the pier until it lifted. The staff was wonderful keeping us informed about the time lines. Helped make the 2 hour delay better knowing what was happening.
