Our son and daughter in law gave my husband and I our cruise in December to New Caledonia on the Carvival Legend. It was our first cruise and we had a wonderful time. Speaking from the point of view of an older couple there are a number of activities to keep you busy all day or just relaxe in the lounges, on the deck or in your cabin. There is an Art Gallery and auction, bingo, trivia, movies and stage shows at night, bars and also a casino. The children had plenty of fun activities and even a night club for the over 18yolds. The menu in the restaurants, Truffles 2 and 3 is varied, delicious and the presentation is excellent. We had our own table in Truffles 2 and our waiters were extremely pleasant and catered to our every need. On deck 9 the buffet was opened most of the day starting with breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and even a Pizza Bar 24 hrs.
Our ship had 4 ports of call, Isle Of Pines, Noumea, Mare and Port Vila.
Our cabin was very comfortable with a balcony. Plenty of room in wardrobes for our clothes and ensuite was compact and contained everything we needed for our stay. Beds were made well each day and we loved our surprise towel animals every night.
