FIRST, We were on the Magic for a 14 night Mediterranean cruise 2 years ago. The Breeze is a sister ship and we expected a sister experience, but found nothing similar AT ALL other than layout. Maybe we are getting picky, or just feeling like we know what a better cruise experience can be like with the right level of service and food but we were just getting out of town from a hectic few months. We got what we paid for but, Here are just a few takeaways while fresh on our minds. Our 5th Carnival cruise. We have also cruised Costa, Royal, NCL and Celebrity (our favorite).

The ship is plain and understated in the décor department. That said, we have been on ships that make the Vatican look like I nice Church. There is a happy medium between gaudy, ornate and plain Jane. This ship was plain. On the Lido and Sports Decks, plenty to do. More for Kids than us 50 year olds, but one run through the water slides was enough for me. With ropes courses, mini golf, sports courts and basketball… kids could kill a whole day without ever bothering you in your chaise lounge. We don’t have young kids

1) Staterooms are (naturally) small spaces and tight places. Storing all the decorative pillows and bolsters is difficult. with two or more people and the limited space it's annoying. I feel like all I did was move decorative pillows from one side of the cabin to the other. Otherwise cabin is nice, clean and a comfortable bed.
