Unfortunately, the ship doesn't get to Port Canaveral until 1pm so there is very little to do. Do not take the Disney trip. There is not enough time to go on more than a few rides and they do not give you any FastPasses for Disney. A complete waste. Several people took the Cape Canaveral 6-hr tour but when you get there in the afternoon, you return to the ship around 8pm and are completely exhausted. There is nothing nearby the port itself and really a waste of a stop.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Typical cruise-line stop - Only for those who like the beach. No real shopping. The RCCL staffing there has been cut and there is no one really there to help you find a nice lounge chair or get a drink. The bbq was very fair and the chairs on the island are a disaster. My kids rented some snorkel equipment but were bored after an hour.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Again, the ship arrives too late and the island of Nassau is not what it was in the past. Crime is a problem and the only trip is to go to the Atlantis. Here is the problem - the water slide (the one you see on the commercials) closes early and you get no time if you take that tour. The other tours do even let you see it! The Quantum has an ecology tour, which was expensive, had lots of walking and not very interesting. The tour was disorganized and not that interesting. People liked the dolphin experience but you will be spending approx $169 per person for this tour. Another boring stop. If you want to see the hotel, take a cab there for $5 pp.

The cabins on the Quantum are first class. The beds are fine (don't listen to the others), and the shower is fantastic for a cruise ship. New chairs on the balcony are nice but for some reason RCCL forgot the lights on the outside of the balcony. The room service menu is minimal and the overall room stewards are ok, but not exceptional.

**RCCL has apparently forgotten that the people who PAY FOR the travel on these top end ships are the Baby Boomers, not the millennials - and they are completely not catering to this demographic
**You are sailing out of NJ/NY - and you have demanding passengers, why would RCCL cut back on staff
**Why try this horrible Dynamic Dining on a new ship?**You hardly notice the ship is moving - terrific stability and no noise in the cabins at night.
