This was only a third cruise the first with Thomson emerald many years ago and the second with NCL Pearl,.
We picked this cruise because it was away over Xmas and New Year and also the itinerary appealed to us.
Unfortunately we did not get off to a good start. Arriving at Montego Bay no coaches to meet the planes and no Thomson rep at the airport. We were lucky our plane was first down and we had 2 hrs in a hot corridor, no air conditioning whilst waiting for coaches. The planes in after us waiting up to 4 hrs. The ship is past its sell by date. We were happy with he size of our cabin an outside plus though the décor was very dated. We were quite happy with the food but many people who were seasoned cruisers with Thomson Dream complained that it was not up to standard. The days at sea for us were a nightmare. Too many people chasing sunbeds which were side by side by the pool and on the sundeck with not an inch to spare.
Cabin was a good size. Bed very comfortable. Décor very dated. Plenty of storage space and also 3 seater settee. We had bath with shower in corner which was set at awkward angle and made it difficult to shower without getting attacked by the shower curtain.
