Preface

Let me start off by saying this cruise aboard the Explorer was not the norm for Royal Caribbean. A passenger became very ill soon after embarkation and had to be transported back to Miami after three hours at sea. That incident snowballed into port cancellations and other problems, which made for a less than perfect cruise experience. So as you are reading my account of this voyage, please take what I say with a grain of salt!
