We are foodies and this cruise did not disappoint. We chose it for the timing and the port- we love Cajun food. We were more than happy with the food on this ship. It was the best food of all 14 cruises we have taken, but the dining staff seemed "off". We ate in the dining room the first night, and requested table for two. Didn't mind waiting for it but THEN it was butted up against another 2 top and when a couple was seated there as were eating, the buffoon who seated them proceeded to introduce them to us as "your new best friends" and commented on how much we loved potatoes. VERY rude and weird. We ate in the Windjammer all the remaining nights except for one in Izumi which was EXCELLENT and a great dining experience. Windjammer food was same as dining room and we could sit privately, guaranteed, which is our preference.

Room steward was fantastic and took great care of us. We requested ice once and he kept the bucket full and fresh!

Room service was good. The chicken strips are a great late night snack and come with sweet potato fries, which we love. On the last night, my chicken was raw so that was not only disappointing but also disgusting. I called to tell them and they said "oh". I hung up.

Great cabins in this class and the room stewards are attentive and friendly.
