First of the boat was amazing, the captain and crew were great. I stayed in 11510 with my wife and kids our housekeeper Jacob was the man. He made the cruise very comfortable for me and my family. His animal display has my kids still talking about Jacob and how they miss him. The bar waiters Fred Charles and Quincy M., made my trip. There hospitality and drive to keep a smile on me and my families face was memorable. I felt as if I was surrounded by family because of those three men. The nick characters and crew was a bonus for my kids who were already excited from all the events and places they had for kids. I recommend that every family no matter what age you are does the gem cruise at least once. If I was president I would make it mandatory for every family to do it. Its affordable for everyone and the atmosphere on the boat changes you, it could change a serial killer into a model citizens. Everyone had a smile on the boat if it wasn't a smile it was a laugh. I never been on a boat in my life the Gem has turned this tuff gut into a cruise junky, my choice of drug Norwegian.
